Today's tide — Kuta
Spring tide: a big high around 2.5m mid-morning (~10am) draining to a very low 0.4m by late afternoon (~5pm). Best window: mid-morning on the high while there's water over the reef — the reef gets very shallow late.
From the water
A Tabanan spot we'll call SK likes a 0.8–1.2m tide, so this morning's 2.6m drowned out the best of it — the swell still had kick and pushed a few through, but plenty didn't want to be ridden. Moved to a softer, higher-tide peak (RK): high quality for the spot — shorter cuppy punchy rights and longer sloping winding lefts — until the wind textured the surface. A very different session from yesterday's bombs: right place, right tide. Stoked is the goal.
