The tide read — Kuta, 14 July
The tide starts at 1.3m at dawn and builds fast to a big 2.6m high at 9–10AM, then drains hard all afternoon to a 0.2m low at 4–5PM — one of the biggest tidal swings of the week around the new moon. Best window: surf the morning on the building-to-full tide. The reef gets dangerously shallow from mid-afternoon on that 0.2m low — know your exit before you paddle out.
